About Us

Dr. Ali Miller earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2007 and has practiced in a variety of settings throughout the Triangle area. Driven by the belief that healing is not one-size-fits-all, she opened RISE Physical Therapy & Wellness to provide personalized, evidence-based care to help individuals restore their strength, improve mobility, and reclaim their independence.

Dr. Miller is a dedicated, trauma-informed physical therapist with a passion for providing individualized care that honors each client's unique journey. With a deep understanding of the connection between physical and emotional well-being, Dr. Miller approaches therapy with empathy, meeting client’s exactly where they are—both physically and emotionally.

Combining clinical expertise with a compassionate, client-centered approach, Dr. Miller creates personalized treatment plans that support not just recovery, but holistic well-being, fostering a safe and supportive environment for growth and transformation. Whether recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or navigating the impacts of trauma, Dr. Miller empowers client’s to achieve their goals and live the life they desire with confidence and resilience.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Miller enjoys hiking, running, traveling and spending time with her husband and 4 kids, which further fuels her enthusiasm for promoting long-term wellness and healthy living.
